One can get a copy of the book on Amazon or from myself. Nevertheless, one of my big artistic goals is to illustrate each of the 38 chapters of the book. This set of reliefs, cut from battleship linoleum, gives me a chance to have fun with contrast, texture, and of course line. Email your thoughts of any interest you may have in one of the prints. In this series I am creating a thread of prints that tackle mortality. I few years back I suffered from a heart attack and through that experience I started to not only reevaluate things but also began to investigate various imagery related to this subject. I have really enjoyed uncovering this topic using the motifs I started to create from the Stretched Thin Series while injecting other symbols. There are only one of those that exist at this point. Those that are familiar with printmaking, the artist cuts the block and then may print various impressions from the block. When I hand color the print there is only one of a kind that exist. If interested in a hand colored print let me know. Meanwhile, I love to hear from you all.
On this page I have a handful of prints that are more or less stand alone prints. If history repeats itself with my work some of these pieces will soon spark a thread of interest of their own. That is the fun part. Meanwhile I will highlight work that for lack of a better term - Random.
